I have always strived to invoke creativity into my life, focusing on art, design and photography along the way. After settling into the joys of being a wife and mother, my creative focus translated into the kitchen, where I found my love of cooking for family and friends.
As my youngest son was getting ready to graduate from high school, I decided to make a cake for his celebration. I dove in deep and made my very first three tiered cake, each tier a different flavor, even though it only needed to feed 15 or so guests. To my surprise, it was a success and I was hooked.
Since then, I have immersed myself in this craft. It has become my passion as I have tested and retested countless recipes, stayed up many nights perfecting the last petal of a sugar flower and patiently waited for that last cake layer to cool.
